Vet Donations, Adoption Hours

Today S.A.R.N. members were able to collect five donated cat carriers from the Southside Vet Clinic, Petsmart, and White Bluff Veterinary Hospital. Additionally, Dr. Alex at the Central Veterinary Hospital has offered to donate other supplies needed at the LCAC. Please support these clinics in the Savannah area by doing your vet business with them. They are kind, generous, and offer a 10% student discount!

5 S.A.R.N. members will be driving to Hinesville tomorrow to volunteer and pick up foster babies at the LCAC between 9-12. My car is full, but if you are interested in coming out, please contact me. We will also be taking our foster pets to an adoption day in Pooler GA between 12 pm - 5 pm. If you are interested in helping out at either location, please DO. You are always needed!

As soon as our S.A.R.N. foster numbers grow, we will be able to connect with Save-A-Life to participate in adoption days at the local PetSmart. This will make the placement process even quicker for foster parents, and as I've said before, the sooner you place one animal, the sooner you can rescue the next!

Great work, students -- and if you're reading this and have yet to get involved, what are you waiting for? We NEED you!

Best,
Becca
