Successful Morning!

I wanted to say a BIG thank you to all the student volunteers who came out this morning. We were able to get all but one of the cats adopted or in foster homes this morning. This is great news, because with Spring coming (aka "kitten season"), we'll need as much free space as possible for incoming cats.

There is still one kitty left at Animal Control who really needs an adopter or foster -- she is in immediate danger of being euthanized. Her name is Sweet Baby, and I'm very surprised she hasn't been picked up yet. She needs a good home -- get involved in our student network and save her life. We will support you throughout the foster process, and I think you'll be surprised just how much of a positive difference having an animal can make in your life.

There are also several wonderful dogs available for fostering or adoption right now. If you know any students looking for a great companion, please contact scanimalrescue@gmail.com or leave a comment here. I am always happy to send you pictures and descriptions!

Any students who have not yet gotten involved with SARN: Please join us next weekend (Saturday from 8:30 - 12:00pm) in Hinesville. Even if you can't foster, we always need your help. If you're interested in animal welfare, this is an excellent opportunity to see it in action. The women we work with are absolutely amazing, and I promise you will leave feeling very inspired!

Good luck with finals!
Becca
